Walter F. DeArmey

 A 20-year resident of Oak
Park, Walter F. DeArmey, 
age 67, died Sunday in Wil-
liam Beaumont Hospital, 
Royal Oak, after and extended
illness.  He was born Oct. 7,
1906, in Johnstown, Pa.
 Mr. DeArmey served in the 
U.S. Army during World War 
II, and was a member of De-
troit Lodge 537, F and AM.
  Surviving are his wife, Elsa
I. (Sved); a sister, Mrs. Ra-
chel Wendling, Johnstown
Pa.; two brothers, Harry
Hopsopple, Pa.; Dewey,
Johnstown Pa.
  Funeral service will be at
11 a.m. Wednesday, at the
William Sullivan and Son Fu-
neral Home, 705 West Eleven-
Mile, Royal Oak.
  The Rev. Oliver A. Nelson
will officiate.  Burial will be in
Forest Hills Cemetery, Hough-
ton.
  The family suggests memo-
rial contributions to the Mich-
igan Cancer Foundation or
Gethsemane Lutheran
Church, Berkley.
