DeARMEY -- Mrs. Eva, 77, Somerset Pike, Hollsopple R. D. 2, died at 7 p.m. Sept. 25, 1972, at Lee Hospital. Born Nov. 4, 1894, in Johnstown, daughter of Nelson and Kathryn (Mathews) Varner. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Howard. Survived by husband, Harry J., and these children - Eva Catherine, wife of Warren Baith, Hollsopple; the Rev. Richard P., married to former Lois McAchren, Osceola, Ind.; the Rev. Max A., married to the former Helen Shaffer, Hollsopple; also nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. Sister of Mrs. Marguerite Flasher, Hollsopple R. D. 2; Harold, Phoenixville; and Mrs. Louise Lane, Lewistown. Member of Jenners Grace Brethren Church, where she was a deaconess and teacher of ladies' Bible class. Death ends marriage union of nearly 60 years. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Tuesday at the John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Richard Smith and the Rev. Don Rager. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery
